I have been working as an independent musician in the Mexico City area for around 10 years. I play trombone, flute and trumpet, and have worked as a soloist as well as playing with a few different bands and ensembles, playing diverse styles.

Before I got into the English language instruction field, I spend several years working in the restaurant industry, and have lots of experience as a server and bartender, as well as working in kitchens.

Interests: I have over 15 years of experience teaching English and I love to help students with their English. I enjoy playing music, and I play the flute, trumpet, trombone and guitar. In my spare time, I play with a few different bands, and listening to and playing music are my biggest hobbies , as well as song writing. I love spending time outdoors, and going hiking and walking. I love travelling, meeting new people, and learning about new cultures. I enjoy doing yoga, dance (fcbd, cumbia, and salsa in particular), and cooking.

I have a bachelors degree from Dartmouth College, where I did a double major in geography and geology. I have a teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from ITTO (International Teacher Training Organization).
