Interests: While teaching has long been a passion,I have a keen interest in the outdoors and nature. I love to cycle, ski, hike and keep very active. Love to travel, get out and meet new people from all over the world. I have a strong involvement with environmental issues and am an avid conservationist. I also play piano and keyboards in a band. Aside from playing music, I enjoy gardening, reading, writing, composing songs and painting. The best things in life really are free.
Education: I began my college education at U.S.C. in Southern California. I went on to obtain my teaching credential at San Francisco State University, where I continued to study Latin American Literature and La Raza studies. Later, after nearly 15 years of teaching, I went back to get a Master's Degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Latin American Economies from the University of Oklahoma where I lived for 4 years.
