Profession: Writer/College English Teacher/Ph.D. Student

Interests: I love writing, reading, running, hiking, working out, watching movies & TV, baking & cooking, eating, meeting interesting people, traveling, and dreaming. I find inspiration in art, literature, and life experience. I love reflecting on the past and making plans for the future, and talking with others about their own stories.

Education: I am currently working on my doctorate in literature and creative writing at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. This past summer, I graduated with a Master's of Art in creative writing with a speciality in fiction from Antioch University Los Angeles. In 2008, I completed my bachelor's degree in Print Journalism from the University of New Mexico.
