Interesses: I am interested in all kinds of history - ancient history, Native American history, the (American) Civil war, almost any kind of history - even the history of the pencil !

I read a lot; history, science fiction, gardening, home improvement, & anything that looks interesting.

I enjoy gardening with flowers - bulbs and plants, flowering bushes and trees. I love baking, home improvement projects (except tile floors - never again !), botany, hiking, museums, forests and nature.
