Interests: I have quite a broad range of interests. First and foremost, I'd say I'm passionate about the outdoors. I love being out in nature, whether it be hiking, bike-riding, walking the dog, gardening, long-boarding, swimming, you name it! I'm also a huge animal lover who gets to occasionally ride horses and dreams of having some sort of mini rescue someday. I love listening to many kinds of music, going to concerts and festivals when I can, and attempting to play the ukulele, sing and practice the piano. I played basketball since I was young and still love going to the park to shoot around with friends when I can. I've also been known to participate in summer recreational kick-ball teams - such a blast! I'm a human rights/social justice activist and participate in local actions whenever possible. I also try to stay as informed as I can about political issues in my own country as well as following news from around the world. I love studying Spanish to continue to improve whenever possible, and I love to read, cook, knit, watch movies and go on outings with friends and family when I have time to relax.
