Interests: I love everything to do with media - television, film, video games, anime and manga, visual novels, web series, podcasts. Since I teach media studies, I can talk about these interests at length with students.

Education: I have a PhD in English with a specialization in Film and Media Studies from the University of Florida, an M.A. with distinction in English Literature from California State University, Chico, and a B.A. with honors in English from California State University, Chico.
