Profession: David Baker is a professor of English and Literature at University Santiago de Cali. For over 12 years, he has taught all ages and levels.

Interests: I love learning about new cultures and traveling. Currently, I am living in Cali, Colombia and learning Spanish while taking salsa dancing lessons.

Education: David received a bachelor’s of art degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio (2003) and a bachelor’s of science in education from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio (2005). He then taught and coached at the high school level for 7 years before returning to university in 2012 for his master’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis. His most recent educational accomplishment was in 2017 when he became an Oxford Seminar certified TESOL English teacher in New York City.
