Interests: I love the outdoors! I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, traveling, and exercising (to stay strong for outdoor activities). I also love creating with the arts (painting and drawing), knitting, and playing guitar (love music). I enjoy reading and learning on a daily basis.

Education: I went to University of Washington in Seattle and received my BA in English and Elementary Education. I received my M.Ed from Lesley University in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Integrating the Arts. I received my National Board Certification (NBPTS) in 2000 and 2010.
