Interests: I have taught English in 7 countries and lived in 4 of them! I have traveled to over 25 countries and am a lover of languages! I am interested in how learning languages can benefit memory and attention, especially in adults. My current PhD research focuses on vocabulary learning. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in a busy office for a healthcare provider. I also love the outdoors, spending time at the beach, or hiking. I love all things food (although I'm a terrible chef!) especially spicy cuisines (Thai, Korean, Indian). I also enjoy music- sometimes I like to sing and learn a bit of guitar!
