Interests: I am very interested in environmental issues like conservation, marine protection, education. I also like to keep up to date with scientific news. I love hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, exploring, traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, cooking - especially traditional cuisine from my travels, and reading.

Education: I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for undergraduate and graduate classes. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and geography. I studied second language acquisition at the graduate level.
