Interests: I enjoy cooking, gardening, and entertaining with my family. I have three dogs that are great to take on walks, hikes and swims.

Education: Earned my bachelor's degree in Biology from a small liberal arts college. Earned a master's degree in Molecular Microbiology from Appalachian State University and attended Georgia Tech for a PhD in Biochemistry.
