Profession: ESL Teacher

Interests: Writing is my love! English is my hobby and profession. However, there is more to me than that...I have a husband, two sons and daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren. I travel to Japan, annually, and have lived abroad. Mostly, I like human beings! I am very social and able to converse with people and children on any level the situation calls for. I challenge my students, by helping them access their background knowledge first, then teach them from there. I learn from my students as well!

Education: I studied at the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, VA, where I received my M.A. Ed. and B.A. in English. I also have an Associate of Science degree from Tidewater Community College. In addition, I actively attend professional development classes to stay current on teaching methods and policy.
