I started working as English teacher at EC English language Centre in Cape Town in 2010, teaching adult students from all over the world. I've taught students from Beginner up to higher levels a range of speaking, listening, reading and grammar.

Before Cambly, I worked as online English teacher for 2 years, teaching Chinese student of all levels. We discussed a wide variety of topics from personal growth to business etc. I helped my students gain confidence with their speaking and listening.

I've been a photo artist for 20+ years and I'm building my own business selling my art. I'm very passionate about this and love talking about it and sharing my experiences.

I'm currently living in Cambodia. Before that I lived in Vietnam for 4 and a half years, teaching English and taking photographs. I’ve been teaching English since 2010 and doing photography since 2000.

I was born in South-Africa and lived in a number of different towns including the beautiful Cape Town. I’ve also lived in a small caravan on the Wild Coast of South Africa, where the indigenous amaXhosa people live. There I taught English to the local people and took a lot of photographs (my biggest passion)!

I’ve lived in London, Ireland, The Netherlands and for three months, in a wooden cabin in the Swiss Alps. I love getting to know more about different cultures all over the world!

About some more things I love... Besides photography I love getting to know people and cultures of the world, psychology, nature, travel, dance, cycling, art, music, reading, watching movies, making fat salads, going for walks or swimming in the ocean. I love road tripping, camping and just being in beautiful nature with some close friends.

And of course I love meeting and hearing the stories of people from different places in the world!

I studied BA Drama (Theatre and Psychology) at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. The course included practical work in the Theatre! So exciting. I worked as stage and prop designer as well as Production and Stage manager.

I studied photography and have been working as a photo artist for over 20 years!

TEFL

I did a TEFL course at EC Language Centre in Cape Town in 2009. The course included practical experience teaching English second language students.
