For 4 years I was an assistant language teacher in two senior high schools in a very small town in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
I also ran the English Club which was great fun!

For two years I worked closely with the head of the English department for the prefecture. Together we helped train teachers, ran the yearly English Camp and organised teacher training conferences. I also helped create exams.

Interests: I have a wide variety of interests! I love travelling which includes new cultures, foods and languages. I also love reading and watching TV/films but I try not to be a couch potato and do some exercise every day. On a serious note, I'm also interested in current events and follow the news but when that gets too depressing, I listen to rock music or do some painting.
