I was a journalist for 30 years specializing in government, policitical and policy coverage. I also taught journalism at the University of Minnesota. Part of my job was to prepare and place students in internships.

Interests: I was born, raised and live in the state of Minnesota USA. I spent my career as a journalist, and now my husband, who is orginially from India, and I reside part of the year in Himachal Pradesh, India. I am well travelled, love to talk politics and cultural differences. As a mentor, you can expect new vocabulary and lively conversation. From me, learners can expect positive critique mixed with encouragement. I don't want to waste your time. I prefer half hour lessons and adults only. I am well-versed on many subjects and if you like "just talk" rather than a lesson, I would love to chat. However, structured lessons can be part of the mix. I look forward to meeting you.
