Working in schools and classrooms with a variety of children and adults with many different needs has opened my eyes to different ways of teaching and connecting to students.

I have had the privlage of working with the elderly, both in their homes and in residential care. One of the things that I really enjoyed about working in that field was talking with seniors and hearing their stories. It was a great way to learn.

Interests: I have a collection of drums, djembe (African drums), Native American hand drums, and a daf Persian drum.
I love the outdoors too, paddle boarding and camping are my favourite summer activity, I enjoy walking in the woods in the winter and going to maple festivals. I practice Wim Hof breath work and cold exposure all year round, and I really enjoy yoga as well. I also enjoy baking and collect many recipes from all over the world.
