Profession: School Crossing Patroller (Lollipop Lady), Administration, Library work

Interests: I have a vast range of hobbies and interests, ranging from houseplants, to orchids, embroidery, cross stitch, craft, knitting, reading, watching movies, blogging, podcasting, social history, science, the natural world, wildlife, music and food. The big question for me is always why? Why do we have hot cross buns at easter? Why does a bride have to wear white? Why are funerals always black? Why is it called mothers day? Why is Christmas when it is? and all sorts of other daft questions. I like to then look up and see what information I can find in order to answer my own questions, and then I make podcasts out of them, for my virtual coffee table! Food is one of my favourite things to talk about, Why are chocolate eggs given out at Easter? Why do we have Simnel cake? etc.
