Profession: I am a retired physician with specialities in internal medicine and addiction medicine.
Interests: I live off-the-grid in the woods of rural Maine and enjoy country living, including organic gardening, hiking, kayaking, and observing animals in the wild. I volunteer with the Alternatives to Violence Project, an international nonprofit organization that empowers people to lead nonviolent lives through affirmation, respect for all, community building, cooperation and trust.
Education: My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from San Francisco State University, Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Maine, and a Doctor of Osteopathy from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am also a certified yoga teacher and a graduate of the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.
