Profession: Appellate criminal defense attorney

Interests: I feel very lucky to love my job, But, I also try to cultivate other interests. I also enjoy making art and jewelry making. I have a small family of animals -- two elderly dogs and a young cat -- who keep me busy. I like to travel but until recently have not had much time to do it. Last September, I had the incredible offer to travel in Africa (Zimbabwe and Botswana) and it was amazing.

Education: I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a Master's. Following my MA, I went to law school at UC Hastings. I have been a full-time attorney since 2003 and I am licensed to practice law in California and Ohio.
