Profession: Researcher

Interests: Hi! My name is Zahra, and I am a Canadian graduate student currently working in the Netherlands as a researcher. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy being active, reading books, writing, traveling, and playing the violin. I also enjoy learning new languages, and I am working on learning Norwegian and French. I am very excited to be a part of the Cambly team, and I hope I can help you with your English reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Education: I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and I am currently completing a PhD (doctorate) in Epidemiology (Public Health). I specifically study mental illnesses in children and teenagers, and I am very interested in understanding what causes them so I can help prevent them. Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Canadian universities, and I am also TESOL certified to teach English.
