I started working with VIPKID in 2018. It is an American based company that works with young, Chinese English-learners. While it was a fun learning opportunity to work with children, I find my teaching style is more suited to adults.

관심 분야: I spend most of my free time with my husband at the beach & snuggling with my cat and new puppy at home. I love to dance, read, and enjoy writing as well. I am passionate about travelling and am currently living in Costa Rica! One of my favourite things is meeting new people and gaining more perspective on life around the world. There is no topic I'm not interested in talking about without judgement, and as someone who is learning Spanish, I can appreciate the challenge of learning a new language.

I graduated from Toronto's Ryerson University in 2009. It was a very demanding and intensive program, but it taught me so much. My favourite courses were Human Anatomy and Creative Writing. Of course, I also loved every moment of dancing possible!

500 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification

In 2012, I completed my 500 hour training with Moksha Yoga. Studying yoga deeply enhanced my understanding of the human body and it's movement. It also opened my eyes to yogic philosophy and science. This also enhanced my communication skills a lot.
