I have worked for decades in communities in various countries to help local families find success. Sometimes this involves marital counselling, parenting advice, help breaking harmful addictions, or even teaching general hygiene or how to read.

Interests: I love teaching. I am a native English Speaker, born and raised in the United States. I have experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of learning a second language and I am now fluent in Spanish. This perspective has made me a better English teacher and helped me understand how it feels to struggle to learn a second language. I am hardworking, dedicated, and self-disciplined. This course focused on the important skills need to be an effective online educator. Skills learned include how to plan a lesson, how to manage the classroom, how to teach language skills, TPR, and how to teach various types of English learners.
