Profession: University lecturer, professional writer and editor, software developer.

Interests: I have lived and taught at college/university level in Canada, the USA, China, South Korea, Qatar, the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. I am a big fan of English and world literature, the arts, philosophy, history, and culture generally. I am also a professional writer and editor, and have written several books.

Education: Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University, Canada. Master of Arts and ABD Ph.D. from Syracuse University, USA, Journalism Certificate from Ryerson University, Canada, CELTA, Trinity Licentiate Diploma in TESOL. both from the UK.
