Profession: I worked as a quality assurance microbiologist from 2010-2020, but now I'm studying to be a full-time teacher.

Interests: I live in rural Nova Scotia. I am a Girl Guide leader, and I like to spend time outdoors hiking, camping, and gardening.

Education: Bachelor of Science (double major) in Microbiology and Immunology and Spanish from Dalhousie University;
Advanced Diploma in Food Safety from The Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland;
Currently completing Bachelor of Education from St. Francis Xavier University.
