Joel Leonard Syphers

Profession: Currently tutoring a 10 year old Belarusian girl. Previous Professions: Teaching Associate, Disability Support Worker and Childcare Worker

Interests: A little bit about myself. I love travelling, learning new languages and experiencing new cultures. I have been to 52 countries and maybe even yours, which I think is amazing! I love teaching English and have been doing so for many years on my travels and professionally.
Regarding languages, I studied Chinese (Mandarin) in High School and University. I can also understand most of Tagalog and Bisaya because my Mother is from the Philippines. I also learnt Spanish in Mexico.
Currently, I'm studying a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at Monash University, Australia.

Education: I have a Masters/Honours Degree in Medicinal Chemistry. I also have a Bachelors Degree in Science, with a double major in Chemistry and Microbiology, and a minor in Zoology. These degrees are from Monash Univeristy in Melbourne, Australia. I did a year abroad at the University of Sussex in England, which was spectacular!
I also have a certificate 4 in Leadership and Frontline Management. Therefore, I can help you with your public speaking, punctuality, communication and pronunciation skills!
