Interests: My principal passions in life are language and music. I nevertheless have a wide range of interests covering science and the arts. I have a thirst for learning so try me on something new. Numerically based subjects, on the other hand, I avoid for the sanity and protection of my students. (Politics I leave to those who are fully competent at making a mess of everything!)
