Originally from London, I left to live in other countries about 12 years ago - I have lived and worked in Vietnam, New York, Bali, Saudi Arabia, Sicily, Vienna, Bulgaria, Germany and Portugal. I speak Italian (with a Sicilian accent!) and am learning German and Mandarin as I don't understand English tutors who say they can't speak / learn other languages. I love cooking, calligraphy & letter writing, languages, people watching (for socio-cultural reasons rather than stalking!), reading, astronomy, red wine production, classical music & opera, travel, basketball, football (Arsenal and Madrid fan), poetry, blogging and a simple life... I also love children having fostered and worked as a coach since I was 14 years old from the poorest to the most prestigious educations in the UK. I teach kids online also from mainland China and Taiwan to Mexico and Italy. As a children's book author and with my love of kids it is a pleasure.
