Interests: I'm an evolutionary biologist who studies birds and genetics. I love hiking, camping, knitting, and tea. I'm interested in everything: medicine, science, math, politics, and the environment. I love languages and have studied many: Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Norwegian, and Uzbek, although I speak Spanish the best. I have my technician license in amateur ham radio and enjoy listening and talking to others from my region.

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from University of Colorado, Boulder.
