Interests: Besides science, my primary non-work interest is photography, which I got into whilst working for Harlequins rugby club back in the UK; besides that, I'm a keen outdoors type, with hiking being my main focus presently. I also enjoy travel when the opportunity presents itself; trips have included Japan, Australia, Iceland, and several different European countries. I recently returned to rock climbing, and used to be a keen caver, mountain biker, and snowboarder too.
