Interests: Hi! I'm a former journalist who retrained 9 years ago as an ESL teacher. I'm a bit of a nomad (expatriate bases: Hong Kong, Iran, USA). New Zealand-born, I'm now in Sydney, Australia, where I enjoy live theatre and music, museums, going to the movies, festivals, swimming and yoga, but also head out of town for hiking and camping trips - or a bit of wine-tasting! - with family and friends. I follow current affairs, read fiction, bake, weave, and sew kids' clothes out of recycled adult garments.
