Part of the front office team, I had to learn how to speak the language of hospitality industry, in particular the 5-star hotel industry.

Intérêts: Hi, my name is Tara! I am a native English speaker and a Cambridge-qualified ESL tutor. I am also from Cambridge, but I am currently shuttling between Singapore and Goa, in India.

Outside of teaching, I also work as a fashion & portrait photographer, a painter, and an entrepreneur: during the lockdown, I started up a small home kitchen where I cooked, baked, and sold my products!

Watching movies, reading, and watching reels also take up a lot of my time, too! ;) Because of this, I like to combine these common interests and use them as teaching tools for my students.

My teaching approach is to keep my lessons as relatable as possible -- I am currently learning how to speak Spanish, and through learning a new language, I relate to my students' perspectives and frustrations.

I'm kind and patient and empathise with each individual's pace in learning a new language.
