While earning my second college degree, I took secondary education courses and volunteered my time with high school students. Later, I worked in higher education (college/university) for ten years.

Interessi: I like all kinds of pets. We own dogs adopted from shelters (AKA “rescues”) and they are a joy. My other interests include: creative writing, antique book collecting, anime, and 80’s music. I love chocolate and sushi, too!

I have a Masters in English Communication Arts from Our Lady of the Lake University with a 4.0 GPA. I also have a Bachelors in English and a Bachelors in Speech Communication from The University of Texas at Arlington.
