Profession: Bookseller, administrative assistant.

Interests: I enjoy travelling. I’ve lived in Canada, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and I’ve visited the USA, Jamaica and several European countries. Reading has always been part of my life, and I enjoy contemporary fiction, historical fiction and mystery. My favourite music styles are classic rock and folk music. I played Scottish bagpipes for many years. I love to go for walks in the countryside. I also enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives.

Education: I earned a Bachelor of Arts (major: history) from a Canadian university and I am currently studying for a TESOL qualification through an online academy. I believe we should never stop learning. I’ve attended beginner level language classes in French and Irish Gaelic, and also classes related to my hobbies, including creative writing, patchwork quilting, beginner’s classical guitar, and beginner’s and intermediate Scottish bagpipes.
