I am an English and Language Arts tutor at a middle school for ages 11-14. I assist students in all areas of English, including grammar conventions, vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, writing, research skills, and more.



Summer Camp Lead Instructor

I served as the lead instructor for students ages 5-18. Students are divided in classrooms by grade—I am most experienced with the elementary age. My responsibilities include lesson planning, managing behavior, and ensuring a positive environment.

Sunday School Ministry Leader

As the Sunday School Ministry Leader, I led students ages 5-10 in church focused lessons, activities, and performances. In addition to student instruction, I managed class registration and preparation.

兴趣: In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading books! This may mean reading a traditional book from the library or listening to an audiobook. I love to read aloud and act out the narrator and character voices as well!

Though I have a B.A. in English, I also minored in Asian Studies. This allowed me to learn more about teaching English as a foreign language, intercultural communication, and experience second language learning for myself as I learned the Korean language.

I attained my Bachelor's Degree in English from Kennesaw State University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was presented with the English Dept. Outstanding Senior Award. Many of my courses focused on literature, ESL, linguistics, and writing.

Minor in Asian Studies

In addition to my BA in English, I minored in Asian Studies at Kennesaw State University. Many of my courses focused on intercultural communication, foreign language education (FLED), as well as personal language learning experiences in Korean.
