Interests: I am originally from Texas. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. Subsequently, I attended law school in Washington, D.C. After graduating, I stayed in the area and practiced law for about 20 years. I am currently retired and temporarily living in Brazil.

I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I am proficient in conversational Brazilian Portuguese, which I learned exclusively through travel and talking to native speakers. So I know first hand the power and effectiveness of conversation and interaction.
