In Rome, I was looking after a nine-year-old Italian boy, teaching him English. I created lessons for him to correspond with the English he was taught at elementary school and he was very proficient by the end of our four months together.

I have spent the past month giving weekly English classes to a French masters student. I send her articles every week and we discuss them in a friendly, conversational class.

Interests: I am an adventurous language student: during my gap year I moved to Italy without knowing any Italian and quickly adapted to life in Rome. I am currently planning my year abroad and have decided to move to Marseille to become a British Council language assistant in a French school.
