Interests: About me - what can I say...

I have a wicked sense of humour, I live every day as it comes, I give my best to every task I complete, and I work hard to learn something new every day, but most of all, I love my job.

I never wanted to be a teacher; I was not too fond of school and did not want to go (often I did not arrive there in the morning). Teachers were boring, the school was boring, and all the adults who told me I would regret not making the most of it were right!

I love school; I love being able to change students perceptions of school and learning; I like to challenge the beliefs that teachers and lessons are boring. My greatest joy is watching any student at any age realise their potential and their ability to see my kids shine!

I am fortunate to participate in the lives of others, and there is no place on earth I would rather be than in the classroom. That is what I am all about!
