I served as an instructor for incarcerated adult males seeking their general education diploma, or better known as, the GED. This field focused on five main categories of education: math, science, social studies, writing, and reading comprehension.
Instructor - Combat Advisor (Culture), 2008-2009

I served as an instructor for US military members deploying to Afghanistan. The course focused on: Afghan culture, Islam, conflict resolution, and counter-insurgency.
Instructure - Notary Public (2010-2013)

I served as a state instructor for those seeking to become Notary Publics. This course focused on North Carolina legislative law on upholding the duties of a Notary Public.
Interests: Fun Fact: I love sports - mostly soccer, football and hockey.
Fun Fact: I love to crochet and cross stitch.
Fun Fact: I attended Clown College. Yes! A school that focuses on teaching people how to become a clown.
I have worked in many areas over the past 30 years: restaurants, credit unions, farm work, pet stores, banks, military, management, education.
I enjoy setting goals and working to reach them. Learning a new language helps bridge communication gaps and promotes cultural understanding and collaboration. Congratulations on doing your best to achieve your language goals.
