Interests: I have had a very varied and fascinating life as a journalist. I love different countries, cultures and ideas and I like to honour the wide-ranging diversity of the human race in life, but especially in my teaching. The love of diversity and difference is what underpins my teaching, as well as a huge love of storytelling. Every good lesson is a story well told. Storytelling is, in my view, essential to learning and growing as a human being.
