Supporting people through mental health crises, creating solution focused care plans, developing skills and confidence, informal counselling, motivational interviewing, mentoring students, supervising colleagues, report writing.

Interessi: I have lived in the UK for my whole life, although my family root from other places including Norway and Russia.
I studied Anthropology at University which gave me a real thirst for exploring other cultures. I then pursued a career in social work to help advocate for issues relating to human rights and diversity.
I have been very lucky to travel to lots of places, including Vietnam, Thailand, parts of Africa and South America, and a lot of Europe and the UK.
I have learned so much already from the people I have met along the way, seeing things through different perspectives and taking care of my own mental well being.
I really enjoy being outdoors and amongst nature - a long hike in the hills, wild camping, or being able to relax on a beautiful beach somewhere.
I'm also a big foodie and love flavours of more eastern cuisine.. UK food can be a little boring 😏
I moved to Istanbul in 2021 and I have found a very
warm and helpful tutor to help me learn Turkish. However I must admit, my progress is very slow...
I had my beautiful baby girl in July 2022, who is half Turkish and half English, and she has been keeping me very busy :)
