Interesses: The main reason I love teaching is that it is a two-way enriching exchange. In placing myself on a par and establishing a horizontal relationship with my students, I find the learning process occurs more naturally and effortlessly than in a vertical, top-down relationship. Moreover, my ability to identify and empathise with people’s emotions allows them to feel safe and express themselves more freely in my presence.
