During my final year of university I set up a 'one-man' jewellery business. I designed the brand, website, and the products. I made every piece by hand and dealt with all customer communication, accounting and marketing.

Whilst working at primary I was a sales assistant. my job was to greet customers, answer queries, operate the cash register, open and close the store.

Store Manager
Retail
As store manager of a busy shop in the centre of town, I was responsible for stock takes, hiring, staff training and morale, product display, store layout, and marketing.

I worked on a live project brief at university and designed a set of glassware for Denby Pottery.

İlgi Alanları: Hi, I'm Carl. I am a native English speaker from Newcastle upon Tyne.

I studied Product Design in York. I graduated with a 2:1 and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2020. After I graduated I enrolled in and completed four TEFL courses. My university course, aside from design itself, focused on presentation skills and communication skills within a business environment. I also have experience working with children - when I was in high school I organised and ran a safe space club for vulnerable children at my school. The club was called 'All Ears'.

I'm very passionate about anything that allows me to express creativity. I love drawing, painting, sculpting, playing guitar, and writing. I am also very passionate about travel. whilst travelling I like to immerse myself in each country's culture, which allows me to learn about the people and their lives. So far I've travelled to 13 countries.

In addition to travelling and creativity, I'm passionate about teaching. Excellent teaching can have a positive influence in so many peoples live's, not just in terms of education but in terms of shaping an individuals values and perspectives too. I would love to leave my mark on the world by positively influencing people in an educational setting and being a part of their growth.
