Teacher of English as a Foreign/Second Language at secondary school level/adult language schools in Europe and South East Asia. Also, online teacher of English.

Interesses: Although I was born and educated in the UK, I have spent many years in the countries mentioned above. In all those countries I taught English, and in Spain I also taught French which I studied at university.
When I first went overseas to work, someone advised me to keep a good balance of patience, tolerance and a sense of humour, and that advice has served me well over the years. In all of the countries where I have lived, I have learned so many useful and interesting things, but nothing more so than the importance of treating people kindly and with respect.
I enjoy reading fiction in English, French and Spanish, am a keen tennis player, am very fond of animals and nature, and am also interested in gardening.
