I have 20 years experience teaching English. I trained as a teacher in the UK, then lived and taught in South America, where I discovered salsa dancing and the tango. I have taught children and adults, in schools and in private, and recently online.

Intérêts: I am half English and half Dutch and have travelled a lot in my life, working as a tour guide and an English teacher.

I lived in Cuba until recently and now live in the UK with my Cuban husband and our young daughter.

I have found teaching English a wonderful way to feel fulfilled in what I do, seeing students achieve their language aims, and because languages and cultures fascinate me.

When not teaching or translating, I like salsa dancing, swimming and reading.

Éducation: BA (Hons) Degree in Social and Political Studies
Government, Writing and Journalism, Education
Three year degree in the UK, with one year completed in the USA. I focused on politics, history, sociology and psychology.
