兴趣: I am a Queens College undergraduate with a degree in Psychology. During my time at Queens, I studied Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese as well as compete on the Women’s Fencing team. I worked in an Applied Behavior Analysis Lab my senior year studying the effects of early tummy time intervention in infants.

My junior year I studied abroad in Amsterdam and took courses in journalism and media on the Erasmus + USA scholarship. My final semester I published my first article for the VU Amsterdam magazine with the work of my teammates. There I realized that I wanted to continue to write and make an impact in my community through my words.

Upon graduating from Queens College, I published my first children’s book, Luna, Yes! Luna, ¡Sí! A semi autobiographical book about having a sibling with autism. From there, I moved to Chile to teach English for four months in low-income communities and understand Chilean culture.

I currently am working with children in China online to improve their English speaking abilities. I also am an academic recovery coach at Fresh Youth Initiatives to help students get back on track academically to prepare for the real word. My future hopes are to gain experience with children and elders who may suffer from speech disorders or other neurological disorders both domestically and internationally in hopes of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist.
