Prior to teaching, I worked for seven years as a lawyer, first in private practice for an international firm where I worked as a commercial litigator and later for the British Government practising both litigation and advisory law.

Interesses: I am a former lawyer with seven years' experience teaching English as a foreign language. I graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History and Politics and maintain an interest in current affairs as well as reading widely. I love to travel and learn about different cultures and can't wait to meet people from different parts of the world.

When I'm not working or teaching, I love distance running and have run dozens of marathons and half marathons around the world.
