I spent 6 months studying abroad in Xiamen, China, where I also worked part time as an English Tutor in my university. I helped students with homework and any topics they were struggling with. I also helped students to prepare for their IELTS exams.

I worked with disadvantaged students who were taking state examinations by reading their examination papers.

Interests: I am a language graduate, I studied Chinese, Irish and French at UCC, therefore I understand the struggle of second language acquisition. As a native English speaker, I really hope to help others with their learning of English to open many new doors for them. I have lived and worked across Europe and Asia and am now currently back at home in Ireland. I possess a level 8 University degree and also a level 5 TEFL certification.
