Farmhand / Fruitpicker

I spent one summer as a farmhand in my hometown many years ago, and have worked at several farms across Australia: fruit-picking, crop spraying, cattle herding, and general farmhand work.

For now, here are some of my favourite hobbies and their benefits for teaching:

*Playing music & songwriting equals a creative, positive & appealing classroom atmosphere - we can sing songs freestyle, to music, with ukulele, guitar, any instruments you can play...it's a great way to learn English!

*Qi Gong & Tai Chi - simple exercises and flows are fun to engage & focus attention + calm nerves or reduce anxiety for any younger or lower level students.

* Creative writing background has given me a keen eye for detail, thus helping students in expanding vocabulary, constantly improving pronunciation, reading & writing skills!
