관심 분야: Picture the scene: you open up the iPad, connect to the WiFi and you see a stream of messages come through... your husband(!) is cheating on you. This is the beginning of my 'Eat, Pray, Love' adventure. The next day I received a callback from Ryanair - they offered me a training course, for the position of cabin crew, departing in just 3 days! Needless to say, I packed up and left! I arrived in Seville, Spain not knowing what I'd got myself into and started my 6 weeks of intensive training to gain my wings. It was here that I met my soulmate (with whom I have now bought a house!) and had the adventure of a lifetime. Upon completion of my training I moved to Charleroi, Belgium and spent a year working with Ryanair. I then applied for easyJet and went through the whole process again, this time with training in Luton, England and based in Berlin, Germany. This was it, I had my dream job, uuuuntil the pandemic hit and was made redundant. Since then I have: spent a period of time unemployed, worked as a delivery driver in a tiny village outside of Berlin, been a remote travel agent, owned a mozzarella delivery business in Berlin, and taught in an Italian high school. But none of these jobs were quite right until I found the position I am in now: a teacher in a private language school in Florence. I have found home in my colleagues and my students have found trust in me. I am not a religious person, but with a house in the mountains and a job that gives me such satisfaction I really feel that someone is smiling down from above.
