I worked for a few months as a Social Work Intern at a bilingual Elementary School. There I was able to work one on one with kids to help them learn different skills, information and tools to better their mental health.

I was able to be a secretary at BYUI during the duration of my studies. I had all of the main responsibilities of a secretary, but also had the opportunity to interact with international students and help them in Portuguese and some minimal Spanish.

This is the organization that I was a volunteer for for 18 months. I was able to coordinate service projects, work daily with Brazilians to make goals, and better their lives, help other volunteers with their mental health and other challenges, etc.

A little bit more about me, I am happily married, and I love to dive into different cultures and meet new people. I also love to learn new languages.
I love to go outside and explore the world.
Reading, writing, and doing different crafts are also things I enjoy.
I lived in Southern Brazil for 1.5 years, and became fluent in Portuguese during that time. I was there as a volunteer to help work with others daily to better their lives. I taught frequent English classes while I was there which I loved! I was able to continue to help others learning English when I returned to the United States as well.
